@atclew58
if I’m not mistaken today is your last day as an AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER!! The horrible schedules, stress and having to be 100 percent on point each and every shift is not for the weak. The fulfillment of controlling flights and saving lives outweighs the latter.
In 40 minutes I managed to snag TWO
@AmericanAir
special liveries that have alluded me for years. Even though the skies were cloudy, I still think these turned out okay.
In a last-ditch effort to add more capacity, American Airlines in cooperation with Boeing has sought experimental certification in adding a trailer to their fleet of B787 Dreamliner fleet.
What a difference 9 months of hard work can make. 75lbs lighter but, I have a long way to go still. I cannot do this without my wife,
@scanu77
. I owe so much to her that I can never repay within this lifetime.
Here’s to getting closer to my peak Army weight.
BREAKING: Chemtrail fluids are to be changed for southern states to vaccination spray to be dispersed over Florida first.

One of the last photos I took of an
@AmericanAir
Mad Dog was of the Flagship Tulsa seen here landing on runway 10C at
@fly2ohare
.
As a passenger, I truly miss these aircraft. I had the pleasure of meeting a few former Mad Dog drivers over the past few years who miss her too.
The unofficial O’Hare - Lake Michigan climb record was broken today by a GLF5. It crossed the eastern lakeshore, having departed eastbound from ORD at FL414 and still climbing.
It cleared 41,000’ in 65nm.

@robicellis
Thank you so very much, Allison! It was a pleasure to play my small part in making sure you got to BWI safely this morning.
, if you go to -29:25 in the recording, you'll hear my brief interaction with your aircraft being instructed to climb to 23,000'!
One of the best airport threads in years, if ever. And to top it all off, I’m fairly certain I worked this flight as its only Chicago Center controller until I handed it off to Cleveland.
I missed my connecting flight so I have to stay overnight at O'Hare and let me tell you guys being practically alone in an airport is fucking AMMAAAZZZIIIIINNNNGGG.
My gorgeous wife,
@scanu77
, had this made for my retirement. It was supposed to be ready for the dinner party but, life happens and it was not. That’s no matter anyway. I absolutely love it.
@flightradar24
Thank you so much! It's been an honor and a privilege to help so many people get home, to their next meeting, to vacation, to their loved ones safely.
Finally, this evening. I present "Touchdown" The exact moment the
@British_Airways
#A380
sets down at
@fly2ohare
to being the first regularly scheduled A380 service to Chicago.
We met on Twitter many years ago. On occasion, I would transit his airspace east of Chicago and we'd have a quick chat.
Tonight, I had the honor of meeting my favorite controller,
@atclew58
and his lovely wife.
My mom used her
@Apple
Watch to take an ECG when she started feeling something was up w/her heart. It showed she had a-fib and she got to an ER right away.
She’s stable now & will spend the night in the hospital but, I’m happy my folks have embraced technology.
Finally: An aircraft that I always enjoy photographing is the

777-300ER. Photogenic from any angle, I never hesitate to snap a few frames.
Two amazing years of work that has changed my life forever. Thank you,
@onepeloton
And thank you to
@scanu77
for always being my inspiration and motivation.
I really didn’t think that expressing my retirement paperwork off today would have me in my feelings so much this afternoon but, here we are.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m ready to go. This schedule and the bullshit surrounding it have me ready to go.
Three more days and it'll all be over for these magnificent birds.
I'm debating whether to offer this for sale to commemorate this occasion.
As a metal print? (sans watermark of course).
