Being the photo-chase pilot for this fly-by was a great experience! Here's a background video ( of how we got ready to put ourselves in the right piece of sky, with the right camera settings, to capture this moment.

Happy National Aviation Day! From flying the T-38A as my first assignment in the Air Force (1) to deploying in the F-22 (2) to just yesterday flying over Ellington Field in a NASA T-38N, I will forever cherish the moments in the sky.

Very excited to start our geology training this year! Today we learned about land navigation and exploration techniques to prepare us for our geology training trip. Our staff showed us original Apollo mission moon maps for instructionš.
