Happy National Aviation Day! From flying the T-38A as my first assignment in the Air Force (1) to deploying in the F-22 (2) to just yesterday flying over Ellington Field in a NASA T-38N, I will forever cherish the moments in the sky.

Very excited to start our geology training this year! Today we learned about land navigation and exploration techniques to prepare us for our geology training trip. Our staff showed us original Apollo mission moon maps for instructionš.

Space is a challenging environment, and the NASA team is dedicated to making sure we get the best possible training to prepare us! We worked on range of motion, control panel manipulation, even how to clear my ears to equalize during the pressure changes.

Did a space suit glove fit in the vacuum chamber last week. The suit engineers and suit technicians do an incredible job to get to a great fit. Awesome team effort as I take the first steps towards training for spacewalks!
