@simocristea @BowTiedBiotech The incidence has risen but no change in mortality. As nicely articulated in the cited manuscript, unclear if these cancers cause much morbidity and certainly aren’t contributing to mortality which has been very stable over same time period.

@simocristea @BowTiedBiotech Thyroid cancer incidence rose 3x, renal cancer 2.5x and melanoma 6x from 1975-2015 as shown in figure 3 of the paper I attached (having trouble getting screenshot), none of those cancers have screening programs but have lots of over diagnosis.
