February 6th marks Waitangi Day in Aotearoa New Zealand when Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) was signed initially in 1840. ANZSOC acknowledges Māori as tangata whenua of Aotearoa New Zealand and renews our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to te reo Māori.
