I think being a ftm is great for some people. The point is that it’s a choice. Suggesting to a room of fresh Uni graduates that being a ftm or homemaker is the most important thing they will even do is incredibly reductive. Also…that isn’t the only thing wrong w this speech.

Nope fuck this. If being impolite to a creep puts a woman in danger, then her instincts were right. Intuition will always do more to keep a woman safe than being nice to creeps. Women do not owe men anything, and certainly not “fawning.” That made me want to vomit.
We should trust our instincts, but we should also know that when we can avoid doing harm it's generally better to find peaceful resolution. Better for us and, if the guy is just socially awkward or something, for him, too.
Be polite but honest, set boundaries, move on.

My townhouse has TWO flights of stairs. It’s not accessible for my Bernese mountain dog, let alone my 80 year old parents. It’s a brand new build, out of hundreds of townhouses, the entire development is completely inaccessible thus far for most people with mobility issues.
