It has taken a few days as I haven’t had the words.Mel Hoskins was a fantastic athlete, a mum to 2 kids, a daughter, a sister, a friend .She lit up so many people’s lives in her unique way and was a great person to know. Rest in Peace Mel. My thoughts are with all those hurting.

Witnessed the best and worst of humanity this morning. A man collapsed in front of us boarding a flight. Had a heart attack. A doctor and nurse came to help when I shouted for help. Within 15 minutes 2 women giving staff grief that they are going to be late etc.

I can safely say that the only time I have witnessed anything like today as a speaker was at London 2012 in the velodrome. The crowd at the finish was beyond belief. The noise was so incredible I still can’t comprehend it as being at a bike race. Amazing
