To be fair, Kayla Kowalik is a primary catcher too. At that level they play wherever they can. Shoot Haylie McCleney had to play 2nd during AUX and she’s one of the best center fielders of all time 😂

I’m not subscribed to any of the news outlets but from what I’ve heard she’s taking visits and is just enjoying the process. Not locked up for OU by any means.
I suspect UCLA, Florida, and Texas are squarely in the mix.

If the Rocket City Trash Pandas and the town of Huntsville, Alabama can turn Toyota Stadium in to an operational softball field for a week to host college games,then surely LA and the IOC could’ve found a way to play these games in LA. And that’s all I have to say on that.

Simone doesn’t “stick” her landing but due to the difficulty of her vault she doesn’t have to. Each routine has a start value and points are rewarded and deducted based off the start value. You can’t go hirer than the start value your score is based on the execution + difficulty

Name another pitcher that impacted their team the way Montana did this season? Oklahoma is in OKC without Jordy, there is no way bama makes it without Fouts. Yes, Jaala stepped up when needed but it was Fouts who got them in the position to do that.

I don’t think us Bama fans would care if she didn’t win it. We are obviously happy she did, but I don’t think there would be an uproar from us if she didn’t. Sooner fans just get upset when a team or player that is not Oklahoma gets recognized. And you can’t say that isn’t true.

And let’s come to the realization that if the game continues to grow a stadium will be built that is better than HOF. And that is a good thing. It means more people are investing in and care about the game of softball. OKC shouldn’t be the only city capable of hosting softball.

My personal thoughts: He hasn’t made the changes needed to adjust to the hiting of today’s game. If he is willing to bring in an actual hiting coach (with experience) and relinquish all hiting duties to said coach then he will be fine. If he is unwilling to do that then 🤷🏻♀️

It doesn’t matter that it’s been spread out before. The issue is we are always talking about growing the game, and the IOC and Los Angeles took the easy way out instead of taking the opportunity to make a huge statement and continue the growth of softball.

I’ll never understand why Murph didn’t let Sides return. Skylar and Kilfoyl didn’t have the right attitudes to me. I hated losing them in the moment, but looking back I don’t think their personalities meshed well at Bama.

I’m not as high on Duke as others. The ACC and PAC 12 are weaker than I thought they would be. Don’t forget Texas beat Tennessee as well. The fact Texas did what they did to UCLA in Westwood is just crazy to me!

I think if you are looking at the impact to the team they played on then yes 100%. But with Bama losing so many series that made Beaver seem not good if you weren’t actually watching Bama games. I don’t want to think what we would be like if she hadn’t come!
