Joey Friedel finishes +5 for the tourney and takes 3rd in State! Amazing two days of playing and we’re so proud of him! He gets to continue his golf career at Missouri S&T next year. He left a huge legacy in our program and we know he’ll do great things at the next level!!

The boys take 2nd at Districts today and are STATE BOUND!!! Alex Bresler, Ian Wilson, and Zach Mesplay all get medals to lead the way! Luke Rion also headed to State. This is the first FZS team to go in at least 20 yrs!! Well done!!

While the outcome wasn’t what we wanted for everyone today, these guys have much to be proud of this season. Special S/O to Austin and Isaac who played their last round for the Bulldogs today. They both had wonderful careers and were a big part of our success this year!!

They are a bit disappointed they didn’t play like they’re capable, but being the first team in 20+ years to qualify is a huge deal for our program! So proud of these guys! Such a great experience for them and so many memories!!

Celebrating 3 fantastic Seniors today at our last home match. Joey Friedel, Isaac Risse, and Austin Williams have a ton to be proud of! They’ve been great competitors and tremendous leaders in our program. We wish them the best the rest of the way this season and beyond!!

Fun to watch Joey play in the StL Junior Invitational today at Norwood Hill CC. He had a very solid 2 days (149 total) against players from many states. S/O to Zach Mesplay for providing the caddy services this week! Awesome to watch the teamwork!

It really hurts senior Nick Moran won’t be joining us at state. He was extremely close to qualifying today but due to weird MSHSAA rules not all players on the winning team automatically qualify. Nick always gave everything he had. Head up kid, big future ahead!

The boys battled a tough course for 2 days at State placing 5th out of 11 teams. They did a fantastic job but came up just a few shots short of the podium.
A HUGE CONGRATS to senior Zach Mesplay for making the All State Team!! He shot 154 (+10) and placed 12th!!
