New opinion piece with @violastoermer online now at TICS! We discuss how representational geometry could provide new insights into attention and unite findings across different literatures (spatial, feature-, and object-based)

New paper out today with @CChunharas and @violastoermer! We found that feature-based attention can induce changes in the perceived color of targets, which we think might be due to broad distortions in the underlying representations in that feature space.

Unfortunately, this paper is behind a paywall (open access being an additional fee at most journals still 😔), so if you don't have access please get in touch with me and I'd be happy to provide you a pdf.

How powerful is hearing in shaping what we see? According to a recent study: very! Audio cues help us recognize objects more quickly, but also apparently can change our visual perception. @UCSDPsychology @violastoermer @n_tiurina @EPFL_en @PsychScience:
