Eastern PA. Used up marginally over last April. Non-high line new car is pacing flat to down slightly. High line new is pacing up double digit percentages. Parts/Service pacing ahead of last year.

I agree with your assessment but this offensive scheme has been a major question mark all year and they've been successful despite that fact. As they enter the post season and play the best teams, they can't be this ineffective on offense and expect to win.

blaming dealers for the slowing EV sales is nothing more than BS. EV sales are slowing because of consumer concerns related to charging infrastructure and mostly pricing. The fundamentals are the problem, not dealers.

I really don't understand the OEM's aversion to auto shows. Two types of people attend auto shows: in-market shoppers & auto enthusiasts. Why wouldn't you want your products in front of both camps? It makes 0 sense to leave auto shows. Cars and carpet is sufficient. Nothing more!

Forgive me fellas, you're right, I responded in haste and didn't answer correctly. YOY we are currently pacing down in variable operations anywhere from 2-20% depending on the brand, and fixed operations are pacing up 1-5% in all stores except one which is currently off 7%.

Yes finally some talk of meaningful reform and progress and it starts with term limits for congress!
I recently had a terrific meeting with a bipartisan group of freshman lawmakers who feel very strongly in favor of Congressional term limits. I gave them my full support and endorsement for their efforts.

This is reality. The products are great. The driving dynamics and technologies are terrific inside many of the currently available models, but price is key and it's currently to high on average. Until we see parody between EVs and comparable ICE variants, adoption will be slow.
Why are EV sales slowing down? Our consumer survey pins it mostly on affordability. Battery range and charging network stability are still concerns, but it’s the hit to the wallet that is slowing demand. And not just in the US either. Click for more info.
