True, language models also do not have a connection to the real world.
The dataset is limited by human documentation of the real world which is not comprehensive.

I find myself using multiple AI systems for different tasks:
ChatGPT for learning, summaries, writing, etc.
Perplexity AI for research that requires accurate information.
Bard for... 😂
Mistral for more detailed responses and less "alignment".

I think this is definitely true to a degree. It's evident by how ChatGPT can explain ideas with metaphors for example. But datasets are not a full picture of the world and text is only one dimension of the world. There is also the physical world, space, time etc.
