@hannahmerich @hannahmerich would love for you to come & see the work and potential in Cranbrook, a massive new town built on the edge of Exeter. We have land ready to build a new church in the heart of this new community, but funding is not going to be easy...

What holds us back, weighs us down, or trips us up? Today, how can we start to let go of these things & let God set us free so we can take the next step. #1corinthians13

Just catching up on @alexdjfrost debate at @churchofengland @synod...inspiring, hopeful & honest...Jesus called fishermen, tax collectors & people like me. I know those 'cringe' moments & experienced those 'different background' comments. We need a diverse & welcoming church.
Well today is the day I deliver my PMM to @churchofengland @synod. A huge thanks to the huge volume of contributions to this debate in support of working class vocations. Please pray for greater opportunity for those on the margins and the gifts and talents they bring. #synod

@wibblywobbly99 @CofEDevon There were a couple of younger adults, but it was an evening meeting, so it might not have been ideal timing for families. There are fantastic opportunities for engaging with families & connecting with the local schools. It was also encouraging to see such a good turnout.

You never know what burden someone else is carrying. Let's look with compassion this week when we meet others at work, in the supermarket, on the bus, or through our TV screens. Why not pray for them, trusting in God's strength & love. #1corinthians13

It's easy to moan, to not speak out, to look the other way, to follow the crowd, to be apathetic. God delights when we make a difference by doing good. What difference will you make today? #1corinthians13

It's Sunday, give yourself time to rest... That break for a rest is so important, it gives us a precious pause we weren't always aware we needed. In the middle of a storm, or heated moments, do we always remember the pause button? #1corinthians13 #Sunday #faithhopelove #kindness
