People from my real life started following my public instagram that I did not talk about whatsoever on my private page and while I’m happy to have a few more followers, I’m also like I would rather share intimate details about my life and my opinions and hot takes with strangers on the internet than have people who actually know me know who I really am so here we are.

Me in 2020: “I’m going to write a scathing article about proselytizing Christians and how weird they are and title it “I Don’t Need to be Saved”. That’ll show em! God, knowing I would get pregnant, find my faith again through becoming a mother, that my husband and I would pray together, that I would repent, and that I would enjoy my women’s Bible study and have hopes to someday lead one myself:

We are reading Hebrews in my Bible study and just covered the chapter that goes over all of the Old Testament rituals. The author of Hebrews was trying to explain to the readers why the old rituals were not adequate sacrifices to atone for sin and why Christ’s sacrifice is the only way to save us. The chapter is so detailed and is absolutely fascinating from a historical perspective. But it also explains Christ’s sacrifice in a way that makes me so proud to be a Christian. If you are new to Christianity, I highly recommend reading Hebrews. It was written for an audience of new Christians, struggling to follow their faith in a place and time where followers of Christ were horribly persecuted. Things are clicking for me that never clicked before.
