It’s an aphthous ulcer as evidenced by the grayish granulation tissue rimmed by a narrow zone of erythema.
It is associated with Betchet’s disease, Celiac disease, IBD etc.
However etiology is unknown. It spontaneously resolves after 7-10 days.
