I totally blocked this out until just now but this happened to me. Lawmakers were told to go to a secure room and I asked a police officer if there was one for press/staff or if I could go with Reps. I was told no and just started aimlessly walking around Longworth for a bit
I'm still processing what happened Wednesday and realizing how many reporters were denied admission to secure rooms. It's so awful that this happened and we obviously have to fix this as a matter of policy, but if it ever happens again you guys call me and we will put you up.
