@PJStrahl @DuncOnDemand The defense was elite but the offense was also elite. They punted twice the entire game. Sort of why Hurts got the MVP. Not sure why Eagles defense doing well was all of a sudden an indictment against drafting offensive players. Eagles did both.

Fun fact… Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Cam Newton are the only three QBs to reach 15 QB Wins in a single regular season All three went to the Super Bowl and all three lost the Super Bowl

@PJStrahl @DuncOnDemand We had Brown, Burns and Shaq for 3 years. Eagles putting up 30+ helped their defense significantly. Offense has 2 1st rd WRs, a top 2 pick RB, OL with 2 1sts and 2 2nds on it, a 2nd rd WR and a 2nd rd TE The defense has 4 1sts and the highest paid d coordinator in the league.

So the more I watch the more I love Kenneth Grant for the Panthers. There a reason I haven’t seen much draft talk about him?

@MIDNIIITE I can remember the last time a team winning the Super Bowl didn’t have an elite interior defensive linemen… C Jones, V Vea, A Donald, F Cox, V Wilfork… Pass rushers usually FA or drafted late picks… Clark, Miller, Barrett, Trey Flowers… Our way should be the good team way.

Because the 57th pick this year could be so good… it could even be someone as good as Cooper DeJean!
I will never for the life of me figure out how Cooper DeJean fell to the 40th pick in the draft.

Jalen Hurts has a 52-23 NFL record, 95-42 TD-INT ratio, has gotten to the Super Bowl twice & won one, by age 26. I don’t EVER wanna hear anyone say he “isn’t good” again.

@battojira Yeaaa I’m starting to lean more that way… sounds like TE is a priority for him and not a great FA class for them. Gunna look into it a little more.
