This!!! They are invaluable in the classroom/schools. And they are the lowest paid, and do some very difficult work, which becomes increasingly more challenging with all the complexity in classrooms. All of this in addition to the chronic underfunding of public ed by the UCP.
To see educational support staff, some of our lowest paid public servants, walking the picket line in freezing weather for a living wage while UCP line the pockets of their cronies is appalling. I don't think it's hyperbolic to say that sometimes the UCP disgust me. #abpoli
