@FriendlyWebGuy I'm glad I'm not alone in optimising tasks like that. Mine is a bit more complex variation.

@the_mzakrzewski It is an MVP so anything is OK if it is viable. But that said simple email/ passord has to be easier to build.

@lahjar_ @AasthaAndani Yes, I most likely did sorry for the confusion. I take your point about developers reusing library code etc and using AI generated code being similar. My thoughts were geared towards the point when 100% of code is AI generated rather than the suggested 90%.

@JMellet77 @AasthaAndani In which case, if it is doing 100% coding and you doing the thinking, perhaps you are more of an architect than a developer?

@lahjar_ @AasthaAndani actually I wasnt referring your comment but the OP. We are talking at cross purposes.

@lahjar_ @AasthaAndani I didnt miss understand. If a developer isn't developing code then what are they doing? I'm suggesting they are directing AI and supervising the AI output - directing and supervsing is actually management

@lahjar_ @AasthaAndani Well maybe, thinking about it I called myself a team leader or project manager or development manager, so maybe if the 'team' of coders were 100% AI I think I might call myself a development manager rather than developer.

@RichardsonDx @AlexSSSaint Try this with AI ask "Who is my ideal customer? (Describe their demographics, job, interests, and daily struggles.)" the follow up with "wahtabout members of the clergy" then follow up with "what about senior citizens" then ask "who else did you miss"?

@activenode @fullstackmiguel Estimating in small number hours is insanely difficult, anything can go amiss and be an orderof majnitude wrong. I used to take what the developer esitmated, e.g. 5 days, tripple it i.e. 15 days then add 100% contingency i.e. 30 days.

@fullstackmiguel It isa good idea to have a process that is data driven. Depending on what you are building, but basically the equivalent of function point counting. How you 'pad' depends if the estimate is actually not an estimate but a fixed price quote.

@CyrilMagoo @JonnyExists @Telegraph Even more when there is a prediction of a crash, why move out of rented to buy an asset predicted to devalue when you could invest your money in assets predicted to increase in value.

@JonnyExists @Telegraph Why would a collapse in house price make landloards bankrupt? Do you think there would be no tenants as people rush to buy cheap houses in a collapsing market, and if they did whatwould a rsudh to buy property do? ( increase the price as supply is inflexible )

@usererrorAI Take card details before granting a free trial. Whilst people can create disposable cards it does get rid of many complete time wasters, spammers. Set a limit on your trial usage.
