How can solo founders afford to give free trials when it’s high financial risk to them personally? I’m scared if I give a free trial for my app people will spam the API and cost me thousands with no return :/

Going to attempt to implement a form of free trial on Fitcheck and have a 130k follower tik toker making a video about my app this week. If I can get people sharing their "try on" outfits or funny AI photos of themselves it could grow organically.

Have a tik toker with 130k/2mill views promoting today or tmrw. Im trying not to get my hopes up, but this could change everything

I owe my love of tech to Minecraft. My first CLI experience was at 10 years old running a Minecraft server for my friends. Didn’t start coding until probably 15 because I was too busy…playing Minecraft! 10 years later have the discipline to ship my first app at 25. Hooked.

@robert_fenney I mean I guess I could pre-train one female and one male “test” model for people to play dress up, but the real value comes from the user seeing a photorealistic image of THEMSELVES in clothes they pick. Maybe it will get the message across.
