. "Were there no Heaven, no Purgatory, no Hell, I would still love Thee, O my God, with my whole heart and soul."
Catholic prayer
An explanation of the first levels of prayer, some of their purposes, and how to get started if you haven’t already.
Even though prayer has 9 levels, the first 3 are more like phases. 1/25
It's always funny when Protestants tell Catholics to repent and convert.
Repent from what? Sin supposedly doesn't matter.
Convert to what? Saying Jesus is my Lord and Savior? Done.
What other works do we have to do to be Protestant?
Protestants: Forcefully reject the Assumption of Mary.
Also Protestants: All believers will be bodily assumed in the rapture!
They think they're more important than the Mother of God.
🔊 UNBELIEVERS: When the Rapture occurs the world will be in chaos and anguish will be everywhere - but nothing will compare to the pain of parents losing their babies, or teens being left alone in this world without a parent. The only hope will be to place your trust in JESUS!!
Protestants stole the Catholic Bible, mistranslated it, and now think they understand it.
The Bible was never meant to be read alone. It was to be taught by the Catholic Church and lived out through Sacred Tradition.
No one can understand it without the Church.
All Scripture is profitable for our learning (2 Tim 3:16), but we need to understand who God is speaking to within any passage of Scripture we are reading (2 Tim 2:15).
As the old saying goes ... don't steal your neighbors mail!
St. Don Bosco's advice on keeping the virtue of purity. (directed to his school boys)
1. Have a filial trust in Our Lady; confide in Her, rely on Her. It has never been heard that anyone trusted in Mary in vain. She will shield you against the devil's assaults.

I'm not the most social person on this social app, but somehow I still have 600 followers.
I appreciate everyone who follows me!
If you're Catholic and I don't follow you, leave a comment saying "There is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church" and I'll follow you back.
This is one of the most bigoted tweets I have ever seen.
Delete it, Lizzie.
Religious freedom in the United States applies to every religion.
You have gone too far.
The worst Catholic mindset is thinking it's acceptable to go to Purgatory.
Every Saint or holy person who has seen or experienced Purgatory were horrified by it.
We should live every moment growing in holiness & virtue to be purged now and deepen our relationships with God.
Catechism of St. Pius X
27 Q. Can one be saved outside the Catholic, Apostolic and Roman Church?
A. No, no one can be saved outside the Catholic, Apostolic Roman Church, just as no one could be saved from the flood outside the Ark of Noah, which was a figure of the Church.
My whole strength lies in prayer and sacrifice, these are my invincible arms; they can move hearts far better than words, I know it by experience.
― St. Therese of Lisieux
@LizzieReformed
Christians should always err on the side of fearing the all powerful God.
If you think God will tolerate such language against His Mother, you don't have any fear of God.
May God have mercy on your soul.
THE TWELVE DEGREES OF PRIDE
by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux
I. Curiosity, when a man allows His sight and other senses to stray after things which do not concern him.
II. An unbalanced state of mind, showing itself in talk unseasonably joyous and sad.
@Chad4328
Says the person who stole our Catholic Bible, our Baptism, and some of our beliefs.
Where is the Scripture that people from your belief system preserved for 2k yrs without the Catholic Church?
Hail Mary, beloved Daughter of the Eternal Father! Hail Mary, admirable Mother of the Son! Hail Mary, faithful spouse of the Holy Ghost! Hail Mary, my dear Mother, my loving Mistress, my powerful sovereign! Hail my joy, my glory, my heart and my soul!
St. Louis De Montfort.
@BrokeAssStuart
The opinions of those who won't say that Jesus is the Son of God born of the Blessed Virgin Mary and one in the Trinity have nothing worth listening to on any topic, let alone one about Jesus.
@HwsEleutheroi
@RealCandaceO
No one questioned the Canon until that pervert Luther decided he didn't like it.
There is no need to raise the truth to the Dogmatic level when everyone believes the truth and sinners aren't scandalizing people into rejecting them.
Matthew 28:19 - Baptism
John 20:23 - Confession
Luke 22:19-20 - Eucharist
John 14:16-17 - Confirmation
John 20:22 - Priesthood
Matthew 19:4–6 - Marriage
John 9:6-7 - Anointing of the Sick

I'm starting to wonder if Protestants truly think God is real.
Everything is a symbol to you guys.
If the blessing placed on people and objects through Priests, by God, do nothing to matter, then you don't believe God is Powerful at all. It's really sad, actually.
Did it.
My three suggestions for improving the Church:
1. Only affirm traditional Dogma, doctrine, and teachings.
2. Reinstate the Latin Mass and discontinue the NO.
3. Laicize all homosexual Priests.
I'm glad to do my part.
The Vatican is doing an online survey to be submitted to the Synod of Bishops. They are interested in hearing from a wide range of people who may or may not be active Catholics. You can share your views here. The deadline is August 15.
Catholics are ignorant about the value of virtue.
Virginity, purity, chastity, and continence are strong glorious virtues that merit the Faithful an abundance of blessings and glories in Heaven.
Losing these virtues weakens resolve and makes fighting sin more difficult.
@emzanotti
Catholic women prior to the 1960s were all gnostics, who knew?
Not to mention those Nuns who also constantly veiled (and the good trad ones today) I suppose.
@TaylorAlanEaton
If he left the Catholic Church, then he would be the person he is teaching against.
Protestants have no recourse to stop sinning nor to forgiveness.
@Truth_matters20
You've never read about the Nativity?
Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
King David is the Patron Saint of this time.
When King Saul proved to be a heretical King, David resisted him, but never rejected the law.
He had multiple opportunities to get rid of Saul, but refused to harm the anointed King.
Sin doesn't negate the Office.

Fr. Fidelis is a heroic Priest willing to suffering any consequence that comes with doing the Divine Will.
Protecting babies from mothers who want to mutilate and murder their own children is a most holy calling.
@johnamonaco
As a mother, it's absolutely disgusting for someone to say they are a dog's mother.
Like did they carry that thing inside of them for 9 mos and then birth it? Gross.
2. As soon as you become aware of temptation, busy yourself with something. Idleness and modesty can't go together. In overcoming idleness, you will overcome temptations against purity.

Num 21:8-9 And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and every one who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent, and set it on a pole; and if a serpent bit any man, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.
@protnonsense
Printed Scripture has led to thousands of different protestant sects.
Reading the Bible without first learning correct doctrine causes disorder, disobedience, and heresy.
Four Catholic teachings against venial sin. From Bishop Vaughan's 1924 book on venial sin.
1. Every venial sin is an offence against God.
2. That no circumstance or motive whatsoever can ever justify a person committing it.
3. Frequently kiss your medal and crucifix; bless yourself with lively faith and say, "Jesus, Mary, Joseph, help me to save my soul!" More than anything else, these three names terrify and vanquish the devil

@Jim_Barrows
Catholics don't have qualms about death because we know God is a just God and will only take us from this world when it is most perfectly just and merciful for Him to do so.
@Church_Militant
I have a feeling this report will only shock those who have never read any original rules of religious orders.
If you can't handle the rules, you shouldn't be a religious.
@5Solas2
Protestants teach that when you die, you remain dead.
Catholics teach that the human soul is eternal and those who are saved have eternal life after death and our bodies will be raised on the last day.
Protestants aren't even Christian, but closer to atheists.
@ScottAdamsSays
The vast majority of republican women are against abortion and women are front and center leading the movement.
Pro-baby-killers don't care.
Not sure what your point is here.
@ClassicalTheis
@RealBrysonGray
Bryson isn't a Christian. He rejects that Jesus is God, he reject the Trinity, and he doesn't think Jesus is the true Lamb of God.
Just, fyi.
@RealGabbyGray
Sorry, but Jesus Himself said He is the "I am", He said He was before Abraham was born, the quality and quantity of miracles attests to His Godship, St. Thomas called Him God.
Even more important, the original Christian Church has declared this a requirement for Christianity.
Young Catholics shouldn't feel like getting married is the be-all-end-all of life. You need to stop beating yourselves up for being single.
You MAY be being called to something else.
5. Do not pamper your body; guard your senses, especially your eyes. Above all, avoid bad reading. If a book, indifferent in itself, should upset you, put it away. Willingly read good books, preferably those which treat of Mary and of the Blessed Sacrament.

@EllaFlash
You couldn't even address the Scripture I gave you.
Cherry picking Romans 7 and twisting it to mean something completely different than the actual meaning is how Protestants have gotten into this mess.
@WildOliveTree_
You would rather offend the God you claim to love instead of repenting and being sorrowful for your offenses.
Protestants are like "I love you, Lord" then spits in His face, then "I love you, Lord" then socks Him in the mouth without sorrow. You are abusers.
Catholics believe those pedo bastards will go to hell (unless they truly repent and move away from the occasion of sin.)
Protestants think those pedo bastards are saved and will go to Heaven regardless.
We are not the same.
@northstrongwill
God made every human in order for them to go to Heaven. It is only through our choosing sin that we are sent to hell.
If you are destined to hell that means that is where you are going.
I think you are using the wrong words.
@northstrongwill
I have read the entire Bible and many books multiple times.
Now, how can you be destined to hell and be saved? People in hell are not saved.
St. John of the Cross:
"The soul, considering the obligations of its [evil] state, seeing that ‘the days of man are short'; that the way of eternal life is straight; that ‘the just man shall scarcely be saved'; that the things of this world are empty and deceitful;
@TaylorRMarshall
People haven't developed the habit of prayer and find the Rosary long and monotonous.
Catholics not understanding or participating in consistent prayer has contributed to the chaos of the Church.
@RealGabbyGray
It is absolutely a requirement to be Christian. Even, the major non-Catholic Christian denoms reject that heresy. Regardless, people don't get to just pick and choose what is required for Christianity. You have no authority to decide.
6. Avoid bad companions. Go with good boys, those you know are praised for their conduct by your superiors. Mingle with them willingly. Play with them and try to imitate their speech, diligence, and piety.

@conservmillen
They have been saying these types of things for a while. They want people to see them, as men, being better women than actual women. That's the entire point.
True misogyny.
@DJimRussell
@RealCandaceO
Why would a Catholic support the Frankish cult? The entire premise of his teachings was to commit as many heinous acts of sin possible in order the usher in the "Messiah" and to infiltrate other religions to corrupt them for the same reason.
