The stubborn inflation during Biden's presidency, which has now dropped from roughly 9% to 3%, primarily stemmed from lingering effects of COVID and the Ukraine war (especially on food prices). For the Fox News and right-wing talk radio cult who believe that COVID and the Ukraine war had nothing to do with inflation and supply chain disruptions: explain why inflation has also been as high or higher throughout Europe and Asia since 2020. @piyushmittal I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, because voters in all their infinite wisdom gave the GOP control of the House and Senate as well. So...unless enough Republicans grow a spine (fat chance), that ship has sailed until at least the mid-terms in 2026.
