@TheRealFive0 @atrupar CA’s water resources managers weren’t going to do that. Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to assert control over federal dams because he claimed mismanagement by the state — that they weren’t releasing reservoir water.

@TheRealFive0 @atrupar The reservoir water was released for a photo op. But this water is useless and being wasted because it will never reach LA. Water managers would not otherwise release this water because it is valuable. At 22% of capacity there is plenty of space to catch snow melt.
