I stumbled into a Chinese historic drama piece called Story of Yanxi Palace.
I was mesmerised by how the art direction shaped the world. Rather than focusing on one protagonist, the aesthetics of the world weave a web of stories together.

TIL birds like pigeons where eyes are positioned on the side of the skull has wider monocular vision (see more to the side and back) but owls with eyes forward (like us) have better binocular vision (to see depth).

Software should be better, but it's not. To make anything real time, you spend 90% of your time
😨setting up the tools,
😰updating the plugins,
😭importing/exporting assets (many times) w/ too many file formats
It's not humane.
