looks good, but ... in my humble opinion we should just drop docker server altogether and replace it with microk8s or other similar project like single node k3s or k0s the ecosystem kind of says docker on the server is going nowhere, no inovation , no new features , pretty much nothing is being added

thanks for sharing Ivan, hetzner is way underrated for what it offers especially in the bare-metal lineup and from there you can pretty much do whatever you need on top of it This is very interesting , do you run k8s on bare metal on hetzner ? I'm also thinking of picking up a few of these auctioned servers and deploy incus(lxd/lxc) or ubuntu's microcloud on them for clustered VM management

well ... both are targeting mostly small businesses and homelabs, i personally don't know any business using Truenas in any way or form , as for Proxmox ... there are not there yet and i think their pricing will keep going up as they get more market share if they ever do. And there's also incus+lxd/lxc which has a much better automation support in my opinion I think Apache's CloudStack is much better suited for businesses
