Yes, we are working very hard on this. Vultr's DDOS protection does not work at all. We have to do ourself, this is a challenging job. Apparently the attacker knows our protocol very well per my latest investigation, since we are #opensource .
We are facing severe DDOS attack now.

Linux custom client is ready now. @ubuntu, @debian , @fedora , @openSUSE, Arch Linux , @FlatpakApps, @appimages on x64 and arm64. So far, custom client generator supports @Windows + MacOS + Linux + @Android .

We have loosened the limit, and chosen to only apply it to some specific countries. We will continue to monitor and prevent scamming. Again and again, our public server is for demo, please not rely on it for prod. Setting up your own self-hosted server is the best practice.
