@CoachAllen1975 As leaders, understanding the type of employee resistance can ultimately help us identify the root cause for their resistance and allow us to design and align a strategy for bringing them along! #GSUEdLead

@MrsMattke So true! I think leaders can be strategic to leverage the legacies to help manage new change. Draw on the culture and existing values to facilitate moving forward. #GSUEdLead

Mood matters in decision-making. A positive mood may mean you are more likely to opt for a strategy with the potential for higher but also costlier returns. As leaders, we must have systems to mood-check. #GSUEdLead

@MelissaMusto6 I'm thinking that creating spaces that honor "information gaps" can also help build cultures of collaboration, trust, and continuous learning. And I bet it can help counter imposter syndrome and save wasted time spent "researching" versus asking. #GSUEdLead

I love learning. Thinking about how to leverage switching between focus and diffuse modes as a strategy to build "neural chunks" and facilitate moving from novice to expert. #GSUEdLead

@nsickle_edu This! I love the idea and role of "heedful challenging." And while we need this person, we must also make sure we don't over-rely on any single person. We need diverse perspectives to challenge us. #GSUEdLead

@breweripods @MerrowMs @YouTube The memorability of symbols also made me think about the use of emojis. I don't often use them, but maybe I should. 🤔💭 #GSUEdLead

@loucmet We must take deliberate steps. Women are underrepresented and often required to prove they can succeed in a position before they are permanently hired in it. Check out

As teachers, we practice wait time. As leaders, this should look like letting team members make decisions at different times asynchronously rather than as a group synchronously. This can help teams make better decisions. Give think time before discussion. #GSUEdLead

@stoneysclass I have times I am super successful with Top Down Attention, actively choosing where to focus. Then, there are times I have trouble directing my attention, even when there are not distractions from bottom-up attention. I wonder how I can improve my Top Down skills? #GSUEdLead

@Jessica_Hodge33 My background in assessment makes me familiar with regression to the mean when it relates to test scores, but I had never thought of it in terms of people's performance. Definitely an important consideration for leaders in managing expectations! #GSUEdLead
