@TrueGritNG Unfortunately it has not increased with inflationary trends. And not just laborers, a lot of working class folks. What that means is that things got worse, much worse in fact. That means a laborer is worse off now, than in 2011.

@SirJarus My sister used a Chrysler 300m (similar to your 300c), and saw hell too with maintenance. American and British made cars need to do better really, they don’t last. Maybe due to the relatively strong purchasing power of their citizens, their cars need not last years

@TrueGritNG Yes, a large number still travelled by road. But It was much easier to get 10k (the cost of the ticket then) in 2011 than to get 130k (which is the average cost of the same ticket now). Yes some comparisons may not be worthwhile, but It’s difficult not to compare at times.
