An open letter to my leader @RahulGandhi The Grand Old Irony: A Reality Check for Congress Leadership 1. Stop Celebrating Defeat Like It’s a Victory Let’s be honest - Delhi wasn’t just a loss for Congress, it was an annihilation. We failed to secure our bail surety in 68 out of 70 seats. And yet, instead of reflecting on why we are unable to regain voter trust, we are busy celebrating AAP’s loss as if that somehow compensates for our own failure. Haar gaye to kya hua, AAP bhi haar gaya! This attitude is not just politically immature but also strategically flawed. Our obsession with Arvind Kejriwal is misplaced. He didn’t destroy Congress in Delhi; our own complacency did. Instead of holding grudges from a decade ago, we should be figuring out how to rebuild ourselves in a state where we once dominated. The fact that we are more invested in Kejriwal’s failure than our own revival is a sign of deep-seated denial. 2. The Hypocrisy of Our Federalism Stand We need to acknowledge the contradiction in our approach. On one hand, we cry foul when the central government undermines state governments, calling it a threat to federalism. But on the other hand, some of our party’s social media warriors are now openly questioning the very existence of regional parties, arguing that they should not have national ambitions. This is not just hypocrisy - it is political ignorance. India’s democracy thrives on competition. If a regional party gains strength and expands, it is because people are choosing them. We were once the party that gave India its federal structure, and now we are trying to dismantle the very idea of regional representation? This inconsistency is costing us credibility. 3. Lessons from the Real World: The Cost of Arrogance and Denial We don’t need to look far to see what happens when once-dominant players refuse to evolve. Take Nokia - once the undisputed leader in mobile phones. They laughed at Apple’s touchscreen revolution, refused to adapt, and within a decade, disappeared from the market. We, too, once ruled Indian politics, and now we are making the same mistake - mocking new players instead of reinventing ourselves. Or consider Kodak, the company that invented the digital camera but failed to embrace it because they feared it would hurt their traditional business. By the time they woke up, the world had moved on. Congress, too, had the opportunity to adapt, bring in fresh leadership, and respond to changing voter expectations. But instead, we have clung to outdated strategies, relying on outdated old leadership without any grassroot connect and refusing to acknowledge that the political landscape has changed. And then there’s Yahoo, which once led the internet space but lost its way due to internal conflicts and failure to innovate. It was overtaken by Google and Facebook while its leadership remained caught up in irrelevant boardroom battles. This is precisely where we are heading - wasting energy in infighting, dwelling on past rivalries, and failing to capture the pulse of the electorate. 4. Fix Our Own House Before Mocking Others If we were serious about being a contender in national politics, we would be analyzing our failures rather than celebrating AAP’s losses. The BJP just swept Delhi, and instead of planning how to challenge them, we are taking satisfaction in the fact that Kejriwal didn’t win either. This is not how a serious political force operates. We lost Delhi because we did not form strategic alliances. We failed to connect with voters. We did not run a compelling campaign. And yet, we are busy mocking AAP while the BJP strengthens its grip. Do we not see how self-destructive this approach is? If AAP’s arrogance needed a lesson, what about our own incompetence? A party that cannot cross double digits in multiple states should not be preaching strategy to others. The simple truth is that Congress in Delhi is irrelevant. That should be our concern - not how many seats Kejriwal lost.

@ProsaicView Well, you need someone to listen and take appropriate action, right brother? Nobody should know who makes decisions in the party, everybody takes their own decisions!! That's why we look so messed up!
