An epic week at @airtattoo #RIAT23 as always. Consistently blown away by the team who are without doubt the best of the bunch in UK ATC, handling complex and busy traffic of all descriptions with nothing more than pen, paper, phone and radio. #avgeek

Finally pulling the plug, here and on Instagram and Facebook. Here's hoping for blue skies soon.

@cobaltcatcat Are you comparing similar types to similar destinations? What is 'they' in this context? Which flights/aircraft are you comparing? I assume you're familiar with CAP1733 which stores that the A350 is quieter than previous gen aircraft even though it might be lower?

@FlightmanLHR @cobaltcatcat Oh my word. I mean. Wow. There is just nothing to say to that. It's just getting silly. Diminishes any genuine concerns they have.

@DaveReidReading @Vic_A_Burgess @cobaltcatcat Pipsy seems to think (happy to be corrected), that certain destinations should always depart on the same SID regardless. (I think that's their view).

TEAM of 6/hr will only increase the landing rate by about 2 or 3 aircraft per hour so it's not a cure all.

Would be interested in hearing any alternative proposal by Grumpalot of course.

@cobaltcatcat I'm not sure how we can deny physics? Can you articulate your point, please? Are you saying you don't think aircraft weight has anything to do with climb performance, and that all flights by a certain aircraft type should all perform the same regardless of weight?
