@IanArawjo Koji Yatani's reference website on Statistical Methods for HCI Research is sufficient for most use-cases. It's also a stellar educational resource.

@FarnazJ_ If I remember correctly, we asked them to describe how they spent the downtime. We felt like asking them for something more validating (eg. a photograph of what they did). Asking them to video themselves during the break isn't exactly immune to issues either!

Unpopular opinion: despite all the generative AI hype, data annotation (or getting meaningful AND quality data) is still an unsolved problem, and we should really pay more attention to them. Build to collect what you(or people) need not what you can.
