This is how Democrats use USAID as a corruption pipeline : First locate a country with a per capita GDP of $500 or less where no one cares to go, find a few locals who are educated and can write in English, and set up a local NGO—of course, bribing the necessary officials. Then, launch some investigative projects like “forced child marriages” or “death from overwork exceeding 10 hours a day.” Meanwhile, establish a U.S.-based NGO, appoint the siblings of a few members of Congress as executive directors, and draft a feasibility report on investigating women’s rights or labor rights in that country. Attach annual and three-year feasibility studies, along with all necessary audits and due diligence. Submit the proposal to USAID or similar agencies—it sails through approval without a hitch, and millions flow in effortlessly every year. Finally, allocate at most 10% to the target country’s NGO so they can keep the project running indefinitely. There are thousands of such NGOs in the U.S., supporting an army of lawyers, accountants, and executives—most of whom just happen to be relatives of Democrat congressmen and agency officials.
