@quibvs Its most likely a mixture of having a threshold incase a boom mic or any other oddities appear offscreen from the cropped aspect ratio, and the whole cinematic aspect ratio experience.

@OOC_goonspc Vegas Pro is outdated AF, stick with Premiere, especially with the dynamic linking with After Effects. Or Davinci Resolve that's worth learning for the smoother experience.
