How can you argue that the “American Hitler” deserves better Secret Service Security when he is literally a “cancer”? What do you do to cancer? Do you keep it until it fades away by itself? No, you exterminate it. If he truly is a threat to America, Democracy and Freedom, then it would be morally justifiable to end his life, as that’s what the 2nd Amendment is for, to overthrow tyrannical governments. But the reason why you and most dems “condemn” any assassination attempts made on him is because you know fully well, very deep inside your heads, in your subconscious, that Trump isn’t any threat at all, and that’s why you don’t find it justifiable to do so. Reminder that Democrats (the very people who call Trump a threat to Democracy) selected Joe Biden to be their nominee, forced Biden out of the race and all of a sudden installed a nominee that they didn’t vote for, and who LOST BIG during the primaries. But they did all of this to protect “Democracy”. So, back to the point, there are only two ways to put it: Either Trump is the American Hitler, threat to democracy/freedom you all claim he is, and actually support any assassination attempts made on him in the name of freedom; Or, you can all admit that he is not any threat at all to anything whatsoever, and you guys just hate his politics and everything he stands for because you fundamentally disagree with him on everything, and/or you also hate him personally (which is fine, nobody is telling you you have to love him or agree with him on anything, that's why we have Freedom of Speech).
I’m sorry to disagree, but Donald Trump *is* a threat to American democracy On January 6, 2021, Trump inspired a mob to attack the U.S. Capitol to try and block the peaceful transfer of power. Four people died, 150 were injured and more than 1,000 have gone to jail or prison after trial Trump was impeached for this insurrection… he continues to deny his responsibility… and he has even said he’d pardon the insurrectionists who attempted to harm members of Congress and hang Mike Pence 1/2 of Trump’s former cabinet members have said he should not be allowed near the White House again 17 former DOJ lawyers who worked under Ronald Reagan have said Trump is not fit to serve— and also said Ronald Reagan would have voted for Kamala Harris Stop reading. Think about this. Think really hard. Even if every MAGA policy was better for America than Kamala Harris’ policies (and the truth is that some are better, and some are worse), Donald Trump would still not be fit for the Presidency, This is not an election about tax rates, tariffs, or little policy differences. Donald Trump is already convicted felon. And the worst of his cases haven’t even gone to trial. He has said he would only be a dictator “for one day” He leads rallies and whoops up the crowd by saying he will round up 11 million illegal immigrants— just like Hitler rounded up 7 million Jews. Different era, different bogeyman. You are supporting an American Hitler. I still respect you as a human being, and someday I hope to be your friend, but somehow the “wool has been pulled over your eyes”— and 70 million other people’s eyes too I agree Trump deserves better Secret Service protection, but that doesn’t make him any less evil. I choose that word carefully because he is. Donald Trump is a cancer on American democracy.

There wasn’t. Republicans have always been a Conservative Party at its core, which also had a “Progressive wing”, which was basically the “Theodore Roosevelt” kind of Republican, and the reason he got expelled from the Republican Party and had to start his own party was because his progressive views clashed with the Conservative values of the Republican Party. Woodrow Wilson, the president that showed Klansman movie “The birth of a Nation” in the White House and praised, was a progressive and liberal Democrat. How can you argue for an “ideology switch” when Lyndon B Johnson said, when passing the Civil Rights Act, that he “will have those ‘N-word’ voting Democrat for the next 200 years”?
