Happy to announce that I will be running the NYC Marathon this November for a great charity! Please help me raise the funds for cancer victims and their families.
Tomorrow, May 13th, will be the 105th anniversary of Pope Pius XII's episcopal consecration, AND the first apparition at Fatima. Both events took place at noon, to the pealing of the Regina Caeli bells. What a day.
Canon 856 from the 1917 Code: “Nobody who is conscious of having a mortal sin on his soul shall go to Holy Communion before making a sacramental confession, no matter how contrite he may believe himself to be.”
Today Holy Mother Church remembers St. Juliana Falconieri. St. Juliana was the foundress of the Religious Sisters of the Third Order of Servites (or the Servite Tertiaries). Her Uncle was one of the Seven Servite Founders.
Distinct from Our Lady, Mediatrix of All Graces, which is celebrated in some places on May 31st, Our Blessed Mother is honored under the title "Our Lady of Grace" on June 9th in certain places.
Holy Week (Semana Santa) in Seville, Spain. These outfits have been worn for centuries by Catholics who conceal their identities so their public penances this week are known to God alone.
Uncomfirmed but I have received 2 reports that the Institute of Christ the King is being expelled from the Archdiocese of Chicago by Cupich. Prayers needed!!! 🙏🙏🙏
"Let us remember that the Heart of Jesus has called us not only for our own sanctification, but also for that of other souls. He wants to be helped in the salvation of souls" (St. Padre Pio)
No more public Masses or Sacraments at
@ICKSP
. It seems the draconian attacks of the heretic known as Cupich were a legitimate issue and not only rumor.
We must reject the Novus Ordo and all of its errors which allow heresy, scandal, sacrilege, and blasphemy but not Catholicism.
Today up until 1955 was the Octave of Corpus Christi. Priests who regularly offer the 1962 Missal may generally choose to offer a Votive Mass of the Blessed Sacrament today.
Spread far and wide! Remember to start going to the cemeteries today to gain the indulgences. We can also add a voluntary fast as well and offer it up for the Poor Souls.
I'm happy to officially announce that all of the articles written on Catholic customs over the past 2 years on 1P5 have now been published in my newest book which has become available as of today!
The Catholic Faith is not allowed in
@StMaryCathedral
as the faithful of the
@AustinLatinMass
community are not welcome in the Conciliar Church.
But thankfully the Catholic Faith continues in hotel rooms turned into chapels like this one in Austin this afternoon by the SSPX.
For Catholics in Chicago, Our Lady Immaculate SSPX in Oak Park will be open for Mass this Saturday and Sunday. No limit on attendance. No masks required. No one will be turned away.
St. Joseph, father and protector of virgins, make it so that, preserved from all stain, pure in mind and heart, and chaste in body, I might constantly serve Jesus and Mary in perfect purity. —Prayer to obtain purity (

Today is Ember Friday - a day to fast and abstain from meat for vocations, for newly ordained priests, and for thanking God for the fruits of the Earth.
For more information, read
There are many good, faithful and orthodox Catholic priests serving God’s people and His Church. We live in strange times in and out of the church, pray for them as they pray for us.
Saint Anne was the inner sanctuary in which was formed the living tabernacle which was to house the Son of God made Man. The solemn definition of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception provides us with even greater insight into the wonderful dignity of Saint Anne.
Fellow Traditional Catholics: Friday in the Octave of Christmas is not a Holy Day of Obligation. Hence, Friday abstinence is still required. Reject the novelty of the 1983 Code.
Leaving the Catholic Church because of heretics is like leaving the Last Supper because Judas Iscariot is at the table. Find a Latin Mass parish or Eastern Rite parish where you can stay rooted in the grace of the sacraments and the truths of the faith.
Today in the Byzantine Tradition is Forgiveness Sunday. As we are on the threshold of beginning Lent and the Great Fast, I ask forgiveness of any and all that I have unjustly offended, alienated, or harmed. May the Lord have pardon on me for my offenses this Lent. Kyrie Eleison!
While Pope John XXIII in 1961 removed her from all local calendars (save for those of churches named for her and select locations), this did nothing to stop the ever-growing devotion to “the Princess of Paradise" who is St. Philomena.
Today in the Byzantine Catholic Tradition is Forgiveness Sunday.
As we prepare to begin on the season of Lent and worthily perform our fasting and penances, I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
If I have injured you in any way, have pardon on me before we enter into Lent
I long for the day when the true Mass, the Tridentine Mass, is restored to this and all consecrated houses of God. We will never stop until modernism is overthrown and this happens. Deus vult.
Just FYI, the Angelus comes back tomorrow evening as the Easter season comes to a close with First Vespers of Trinity Sunday. So Regina Caeli in the morning and at Noon then Angelus at 6PM. For those that do Compline, Salve Regina resumes as the Marian antiphon.
Please pray for Greg Comer who is dying from cancer and has only days left. He leaves behind 2 young children and a wife. Lord have mercy on his soul and have pity on his family.

Each one, must do his best to reform himself, because society is a mirror which reflects the spirit of the individual, of the family, of the city; and if each of us does his best to let Christ reign in his heart, then the whole society will be conquered for Christ — St. Pius X
"I think more of the place where I was baptized than of Rheims Cathedral where I was crowned. It is a greater thing to be a child of God than to be the ruler of a Kingdom. This last I shall lose at death but the other will be my passport to an everlasting glory." (St. Louis IX)
Grant, we beg, almighty God: that we, who in memory of the passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ do revere His thorny Crown on earth, by Him may deserve "to be crowned with glory and honour" (cf. Ps 8:6) in heaven: Who with Thee liveth and reigneth...
@SJCantius
Thankfully we still have the SSPX in Oak Park who do not cave in to the false edicts you cave in to! Guess my donations need to start going there too.
"If we truly loved God with all our heart, if we adored Him as perfectly as possible, we would love our neighbor also and we would obey all the laws of charity" (Archbishop Lefebvre)
I received this nice letter from the Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus Christ (which are part of the
@ICKSP
). Please pray for them, especially those who are joining or those who will soon receive the white veil.
The heresy of Cupich. I'll leave Cantius and the ICKSP to go to the SSPX in Oak Park before ever seeing a protestant table placed in those sanctuaries!
We are all sick; the holy Church is a hospital where there is a great multitude of people with all sorts of sicknesses and Our Savior is our doctor. —St. Francis de Sales
"I need nothing in this world in order to be happy. I only need to see Jesus in heaven, Whom I now see and adore on the altar with the eyes of faith."
