@misbuism It's applied retroactively for some people. I guess it's total chaos and every department does what it wants. It could also be that your colleagues applied through a different paragraph of the immigration law and had different requirements.

@divyenduz The message says that the appointment was released at 10:22. I will write to the team that built this system, once I simmer down.

@firstshowing What bothers me is the sheer amount of wasted labour on both sides. Months of waiting and trips across the city, just to tick 33 boxes, check the answers and print a piece of paper.

@Mudvex @Parallelcrypto0 There are many different options. The questions are public if I am not mistaken. Jen just brought this to my attention this morning:

@theshalvah @grbIzl I don't blame you. AusweisApp has the most ridiculous user experience. I couldn't make it worse if I tried

@theshalvah @grbIzl I'm just reading the browser's message, which is "I'm trying to connect to a server running on your own computer, and it's not there". The rest is just me speculating.

@Subflyer @bretanac93 Yep. You need to understand: grading a test is a highly complex process. We simply don't have the technology to do this faster.

@bretanac93 Yes, the in-person appointment to ask for an appointment made me chuckle. And there are no appointments for that. My friend had to wait for 3 hours at the Bürgeramt in Köpenick to get his date. 3 months later it took the test, and it took 6 weeks to grade it.

@sync2nirvana Great point! The dental care aspect is a weird surprise for a system that usually covers "all necessary healthcare". If I remember correctly, dental insurance is not worth it because the costs are too predictable. Insurance is for the unpredictable.
