I was late to playing Plague, Inc., and haven't played since 2020, but you played as an infectious disease with the goal of infecting and killing all humans. It's unrealistic in that countries will close borders and take other measures to stop transmission, but that made it hard.

Not immunocompromised/disabled, but I wear an N95 100% of the time I'm not in my home because I do the in-person shopping, don't want to become sick/disabled/dead, and love and refuse to infect my family.
It's incredibly easy to wear my N95.

It's the same energy as the vaxxed and relaxed folks. Unless your air purifier is a PAPR, it's not keeping you safe from COVID in a crowded room.
Vaccines hopefully help as a last line of defense. Air purifiers help reduce lingering virus in the air. Neither stop transmission.
