The way the church treats disability is so weird. Jesus hung around disabled people and there are many disabled people in the Bible who did not have cures. We have to learn how to embrace healing, but also embrace sitting with people in their existence.
A deaf woman at church was sharing her testimony and she said the problem she has with hearing Christians is they immediately assume she wants healing. Her being deaf isn't the biggest problem in her life, "I have work stress and problems just like you do!"
