@jzaraterod In my two years in the lab, I probably got jeopardized a total of 5-6 times and probably half of these were paid shifts

@jzaraterod For the most part, it’s just part of being in the lab. If it is a paid moonlighting shift that needs covered (as opposed to covering a daytime service), the jeopardized resident will get paid like a normal moonlighting shift

Super cool opportunity to help write up a commentary re: this rigorous SR/MA by @kharasauro furthering the evidence to support ERAS across several surgical specialties. Guidance by none other than @RobertTessler, who has been an invaluable mentor during my academic time!
Great commentary by @aalthans et al. asking the scientific community to "identify the salient questions", particularly related to patient-centered, equitable care.

Update - @British_Airways won’t refund us because we couldn’t make a rebooked flight that departed THREE HOURS after we were notified (at 5am….) of our flight cancellation, which was the only chance to leave the country via their airline in the next two days 🤡

Apparently an unpopular opinion but I actually enjoyed my med school’s use of TBL in place of most lectures 🫣
Does your med school use TBL? This 2021 study found that “students perceived Team Based Learning as a superior teaching and learning strategy compared to traditional lectures.” This is NOT the sense I get from students. Do you agree with the study’s conclusions?
