Couldn’t get home for Eid this time around so here’s some Eid Mubarak content from the team at Wimbledon on Ladies Final day ft the amazing

Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand:
‘The game was decided by two VAR decisions. It was offside by one centimetre.
I am so tired of the ridiculous offside rule. We can’t make defenders run with hands behind their back. It’s frustrating and not how football should be.”

“Drink it in Casablanca. Relish it in Rabat. This is your night.”
“Sing it from the top of the Atlas Mountains. All aboard the Marrakech Express.”
Peter Drury just loves it.
Looks like a serious incident involving Tom Lockyer here, who has collapsed.
Teammate Issa Kabore praying as the paramedics rushed on.
Rob Edwards ran straight on to the pitch to move his players away.
Game looks like it will be stopped for a while.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Went to Wembley on Saturday to test the upgraded FA security measures. Managed to get in to the Champions League final without a ticket and no security checks, raising serious safety concerns.

Fair play Jonny Bairstow but the real point of discussion is what on earth was Gilbert Jessop doing smashing 76-ball centuries in 1902? Long before any of this white-ball malarkey. Jonny deserves answers.
Hungary players have formed a border around Barnabas Varga, who is on the floor. Worrying scenes in Stuttgart. Players fuming with how long it has taken to get the stretcher on after Varga clashed with Scotland keeper Angus Gunn.

"I've never cheated in my life"
Amir Khan speaks exclusively to Sky News after discovering he has been given a two-year ban from all sports after he tested positive for a banned substance following his fight with Kell Brook last year 🔽
Total overs bowled in the Ashes this summer after today.
🇦🇺Australia: 567
🏴England: 803.3
Effectively, three more days in the field for England than Australia 👀
Kyle Coetzer on Chris Greaves:
“He was delivering parcels for Amazon not long ago, and now he's out here getting MOTM against Bangladesh. I'm not sure he'll appreciate me saying that, but there's a lot of sacrifices from him. We’re all extremely proud of him.”
A proper Tartan Army takeover, this. Fans have been told to spread around the city due to overcrowding at the Marienplatz in Munich. No screening here tonight. The Olympic Park fan zone is also full. Scotland fans are everywhere in Munich 🏴

Every Ramadan creates memories. Getting to pray Taraweeh behind a Hafiz who is blind and memorised the entirety of the Quran with the help of Braille is as inspiring and heartwarming as it gets. Easily the highlight of my month.
Lovely to see hat-trick hero Christopher Nkunku give his shirt to Barrow’s Ged Garner, who has a pretty cool story.
Aged 11, he broke Wayne Rooney’s record with 76 goals in a season and even partnered Trent Alexander-Arnold up front at Liverpool’s academy
@gedgarner
Probs boring everyone but I’ve watched that 9 about a million times. It wouldn’t have even been that good if
@Wayne501Mardle
wasn’t commenting it. What a credit he is to the team. 😍
This sums up George Elokobi.
Telling all the Maidstone players to enjoy these scenes and savour it even though their magical cup run is over. Lovely scenes here.
Regardless of whether he plays in Hyderabad, Shoaib Bashir should be in India with the rest of the England squad, living out his childhood dream.
Yet another player messed around and made to feel smaller because of his heritage. This can’t keep on happening.
Legia Warsaw fans won’t be getting in to Villa Park tonight. Several arrested. Others trying to get into the ground via the Villa end. Place has been completely trashed.
As a kid I’d be buzzing whenever someone got me a match programme. So pretty chuffed with this one tbh.
A pleasure to be asked to contribute to the final edition of a season that has given us all tales to tell. ✍️🗞
On the way back from Bournemouth on a day that no one will forget.
Complete respect for the way Rob Edwards and Luton handled it all.
Credit to Phillip Billing too for instantly rushing to Tom Lockyer, and all the superb medical staff involved.
Tell someone you love them 👍
Just got this blue tick on Twitter as I’m on the train up north.
Ordered a cuppa (Yorkshire Tea if you’re interested) and instead I got a cup of hot water without a teabag.
I don’t know what the moral of this story is but blue ticks don’t matter as much as you think they do.
Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann:
‘It was a wild game. I understand why Denmark are annoyed. The penalty decision is harsh but that’s the rule. He (Andersen) didn’t handle the ball intentionally. I would be annoyed too if it was the other way round but I’d have to accept it.’
The Pakistan flags are out in Sharjah - part of something that Saqlain Mushtaq has implemented to constantly remind the team who they are playing for and what they represent.

Great to get none other than Moeen Ali onboard for England’s historic tour of Pakistan. Will be a special moment when he leads his country in Karachi tomorrow 🏏🇵🇰
Worth highlighting that the staff at the three grounds I’ve worked at this week have all kindly made exceptions to leave food aside for Iftar and provided a space for prayer.
It’s small but it means so much. A word of appreciation for those at Ipswich, Brentford and Liverpool ❤️
A small touch but one some Premier League clubs would not have accommodated: Liverpool usually stop serving the media buffet on kick-off but stayed open and were very helpful for Muslim journalists like Aadam who broke their Ramadan fast halfway through the first half 👏🏻
The silverware is one thing. The memories of the journey, another.
But above all, it’s how Jurgen Klopp made the people feel. Joyful and proud.
Danke, Jurgen. You made us dream ❤️🇩🇪

Dad took me to my first match in 2004. Elland Road. I was five. Robbie Keane scored and Leeds lost but you never forget the joy of seeing a football ground for the first time.
Bit of a pinch myself moment then, 19 years later, covering a Premier League game at Leeds ⚽️
Some content from Abu Dhabi after a weekend unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of. Not a clue how we’re here but here we are.
First ever taste of a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend and ‘Yas Vegas’ certainly didn’t disappoint.
“Insane” as a certain Max Verstappen would say. 🏎🇦🇪
Couldn't stop thinking about that night in Villarreal on the train down to London this morning, so I went and penned down some quick stuff on it all.🇪🇸
This is not a match report. Give it a read or a RT if you can please and let us know what you think?
Few shots from last week. Can travel all over the world but nothing comes remotely close to the beauty and serenity of Madinah and Makkah. May we all get the chance to visit again and again Inshallah. 🕌🕋
Your reminder that Morocco have bid for the World Cup on five occasions and never got it. No other country has bid more times without success.
If anything, this run and their fans is all the world needed to see. They’re set to bid for 2030 too. A World Cup there would be wild.
Still not quite sure how I’ve ended up here tbh, but what a pleasure getting to cover the
