MLB Radar Charts is a mobile app project I've been working on that turns complex baseball statistics into radar charts, in the hopes of making it easier for fans to learn about advanced statistics and make data-informed evaluations of players.

@annkillion You can be happy and excited about the move while still having an understanding that his front office experience is a valid concern. Plenty of "prepared and methodical" athletes have utterly failed as non-athletes.

@yozetty Level Beer has a nice outdoor area with some food trucks, AND is video game themed. It's also pretty close to the Retro Game Expo, if that's what you're in town for. Oakshire and Rogue are two other good options to look into.

@McCoveyChron This is such a good point. So many fans are hyper focused on their team and blind to the mundane actions of other teams, even the great teams. This is particularly frustrating when it's coming from broadcasters or media people that very clearly don't follow the wider sport.

@GarlicFryRy @SFGiants Matt Chapman's 6.1 bWAR (with a month still to go) is more than anyone on the Rangers last year, and more than any Giant had in 2010 and 2014.

@BenKaspick 2nd worst Barrel% allowed though. They've earned plenty of that HR/FB ratio, which also explains some of the ERA/FIP gap.

@ImNotHuman123 How about during the Rickwood game when Tyler Fitzgerald was on first base, as the tying runner in the 9th inning, and yet was still at first base 15 pitches later when Bailey hit what could've been a game-tying single.

Patrick Bailey has been the 4th best catcher in baseball (fWAR) since his debut last season.

@darnit6969 @CodifyBaseball Ramos doesn't have chase issues. His discipline is actually quite good with better than average O-Swing and Z-swing rates. He has whiff issues, but the contact quality more than makes up for it. I think that will continue to be the case as long as the discipline stays strong.
