@JajaPhD I'm a stay at home mom, everyday I thank God because I consider it a privilege to be able to stay home and take care of my child by myself considering the economic situation. The few times I've left her at home to quickly run an errand, anxiety wanted to kill me.

Made Egusi without oil recently because I couldn't fine palm oil, Imagine my joy when I eventually found a tiny bottle at the store. I announced it to everyone because my Egusi was looking depressed af.
When life gives you incomplete ingredients, improvise😁. I didn’t have Palm oil at home, I turned my Okro soup into Oil-less Okro soup. I added small pepper soup spice of extra flavour. And that was our dinner. What meal have you improvised without oil or some ingredients?

I used to want 7 kids🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was a mad person for real.
Before I got married, I used to fantasize about having 5 kids. After we did one, the fantasy vanished. The process of bringing them kids from heaven to here is long, mentally exhausting and scary.

I was sitting in front of my house during the new yam festival and from nowhere a masquerade sprang out. The way I picked race, I could have hurt myself. Only to hear my cousin calling my name and asking me to stop running that it is him.
True story : my aunt was with her husband at ikorodu for an event. Next thing he excused himself. She stood up to pee or so, next thing someone cornered her in a masquerade costume. She started screaming but he kept whispering “folake, folake, it’s me”.

My Grandma's favourite Saint. One time she was looking for one of her gold earrings, it fell off while she was having her bath. This woman told us St Anthony will help her find it. On the 13th of June, she found it in her bath water.
You know the funny thing about St Anthony helping you find a lost item is that he puts it in a place you’ve probably searched before. In the most visible place where you just know you couldn’t have missed it🤭😂.

That period was hell. My father wanted to go mad because he thought something had happened to me. When the chaos started, I ran to DMGS to find my brother not knowing my father had gone to pick him and was driving to Ado girls to pick me too and he did not find me.
My fear of Islam started in 2006, I sat in front of our compound, a trailer with over 100 dead bodies was passing with my people crying. They were killed by Muslims in the Northern Nigeria all because a Danish man in far away Europe drew a caricature of Prophet Muhammad.

When I lost my father and didn't know what I was going to do with my life, I would go to the Blessed Sacrament everyday. It was the only way I could find strength to go on.
There are times you'll just go to the Blessed Sacrament and sit without saying any word. Just being in the presence of the Lord has a healing effect on our soul. Our silence translates into a prayer too deep for a word.

I actually do love @imoteda. She's not perfect, we have opposing views and lifestyle but she's been good to me and my daughter. We both made a conscious decision to try and be friends just for our babies sake. And she grew to trust me when I was married to her ex. Femi hated it😂.

My mom died before I turned 5, but I remember with a child's eye. People coming and going from our house. There was not a day we had no visitor. My mom was a rich and generous woman. She was extremely generous. She paid fees, started businesses, sent people abroad.
