Very excited and thankful to be able to play a part in this effort. A great collaboration and team!
Welcome to some new brilliant minds joining the BCC team! Dr @_joesia Radiation Oncologist @PeterMacCC & Dr Negar Asadian, Neuroscientist have joined the @braincancerlab team at @WEHI_research Joe brings his expertise from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre’s Department of Radiation Oncology and is now collaborating with our WEHI team on the Neuro-oncology Translational Radiobiology (NOTR) program. This program, generously funded by PeterMac with support from Prof @svporceddu aims to improve our understanding of brain tumour and radiation therapy interactions. Joe will focus on brain metastases, developing new therapeutic options for patients. Negar will pivot from neuroscience to focus her skills on the brain cancer space. We are incredibly grateful for PeterMac’s crucial support, which has enabled this exciting collaboration, and can’t wait to see what this incredible team can achieve together, working towards a brighter future for brain cancer patients and their families. Many Minds. One Focus.
