OMG. Darwin Airport has Plumed Whistling-Ducks on the carpet!!! PANTS DUCKS ON THE CARPET!!! Yes, I yelled that out loud in a crowded airport at 2am and yes people looked at me like I was a lunatic. #BirdsWithPants

The plane is broken and has been sent to the naughty corner of the airport to be fixed by an engineer they are bringing up from Canberra. Last word was that we’d be leaving at 8:45 (in 20mins). Seeing as the engineer isn’t here yet I’m not hopeful…

@NikiRust @nixrust Same, I’m unsure how many of my science/ecology peeps are still here because I hardly ever see their tweets, even in the “following” timeline. I also hardly seem to see artists I follow either (though I did see this tweet!). I might go see what’s happening at the cerulean clouds.
