My brief but meaningful conversation with a 2nd grader while walking to her car during our 3-hour early dismissal. Although she’s not ready for snow, she is ready for her snowman. The children are gifts. And this is why a day without direct contact with students is wasted! ❄️☃️✌🏿

We know what to do. Only believe. All things are possible. And to remind everyone what we are believing for, this is the most important sentence of the message: “We appreciate your understanding and will continue to monitor conditions, providing updates if anything changes.” 🥶

Because children and adults need opportunities to discuss ideas and concepts among themselves, I enjoy listening to what attendees have to say about what they are learning. Although I don’t remember what this group was unpacking, it was definitely good to me.

As a man of faith, I was taught to look to the hills because that’s where my help comes from. But at a particular school, or when working around a certain person, I have learned to look to the ceiling tiles because that is where my keys will be. #todayinschoolpsychology
