@artillain Yes, and if they shove a chatbot in my face I’m out. I’m so confused by companies who don’t understand that the beauty of the web is all about getting stuff done without getting slowed down by other people, whether the people are real or fake.

@CtrlAltDwayne @htmx_org It’s always funny to me that people bandwagon onto what the big companies are using. “Facebook uses <whatever>!” Right. Okay. Do you want to build something as shit as Facebook?

@tracewoodgrains Take singing lessons from any grad student in a music program. If you can sing an opera you can give a speech.

@AllenDowney @spantoni20 About 10 years after I dropped out of undergrad I went on a little pilgrimage back to campus to find all my tough but effective profs and thank them. It was a fun range of responses from “who the fuck are you?” to “I knew you would get it eventually!” But yeah, pretty rare.

@focusfronting Holy shit I thought the worst Catholic you could be is an atheist, but I’ve never had the pope write a letter about how wrong I am. Damn. Converts win again.

@magnum_d1ngus Yeah, this. The problem is that stupid people keep electing greedy people. But that’s less fun to scream about I guess.

@Type07Safety @LeadingReport I honestly have no idea what Trump is on about. CA would get a huge number of electoral votes. Assuming they adopt a winner take all clause in their state constitution, it would be a massive boon for Dems.

@agraybee In the hierarchy of drugs, hubris and delusions of adequacy are far more destructive than ketamine and cocaine.

@senatorshoshana Can regulatory compliance be legally nullified by the fact that no one knows what the actual rules are? Probably a dumb question, but curious how a violation gets enforced if you literally can’t find out the current state of requirements.
