An MCC Women's squad returned from

last week.
The squad played six matches and led coaching sessions for local children and coaches in Pokhara. The sessions ran in conjunction with MCCF

programmes which we have been delivering to young people in Nepal since 2019.

In the UK, through our National Hub Programme, we’re targeting equity at all levels of our work. Last year, we engaged close to 1000 girls, providing free coaching and removing barriers. As we develop our work, we are striving for all programmes to have 50% female representation.

Positive news: 200 participants on the MCC Foundation's hub scheme, which provides free coaching/matchplay to roughly 2,800 state-educated children across the UK, were picked up by county/district age-group squads in 2022.
