@MasonClaude5 @blakeahadley Add proper planter maintenance and in field adjustments. Can have all the tech on it in the world but if you won’t adjust based on conditions or don’t double check basic wear parts it will affect your performance

@Bkitch1Bodie Besides logistical advantages: grain bins look pretty strong for the time being for the 2024 crop. You would have said just the opposite a year ago at this time.

@ConnorSible @trapdoor1873 I think that is where we aren’t on the same page. When farmers are claiming mystery yield loss it is after shrink and being over a certified scales. Our farm data is done this way along with many others that claim it. It has nothing to do with yield monitor readings.

@ConnorSible @trapdoor1873 Gotcha gotcha! So 1.5/1000th of an acre per hybrid for trial. Our farm data would politely disagree with your data. Especially this fall. Not disputing your data by any means. People who always said mystery yield loss wasn’t real became believers this fall in our area.

@BoilerInTexas Good college football is my favorite but as a whole NFL is better. I couldn’t watch Purdue this year. They were miserable. Bad NFL football is still watchable, especially with fantasy football and betting. CFP is very good though.

@Bkitch1Bodie And that’s just a general comment. Some talk about “pushing” when prices are high and “trimming back” when they are low. We should always hope to maximize yield as efficiently as we can every year. Prices can affect the degree to which you trim or push but not the whole mindset
