Had a recent guest book a luxury rural property I manage for 4 people. She then proceeded to have an entire wedding there, trash the house and give the place my only 4 star review for "value". Our ring camera was off and I only know of it because of neighbor and housekeeper reports. Our lovely housekeeper called us upset because it had taken her 11 straight hours to clean the place. Unfortunately she only took pictures AFTER cleaning so no evidence. I messaged the guest with my only ask being she pay $300 for extra cleaning. She then got incredibly angry, denied everything and didn't pay. Moral of the story: Make sure your security measures are always working and let your housekeeper know to take pictures before fixing the giant mess. 😂

Crazy how many massive respected companies have resorted to predatory behavior or straight up scamming Two recent situations I've been involved in. 1. Buy 2 tickets on @Seatgeek for a total of $615. - Tickets never get delivered, can't get into the venue - Call them, they say I'll be refunded in 3-5 business days. - 1 month, multiple calls and conversations later I have still yet to be refunded. 2. @Linkedin offers $100 credit for promoting a job. - Post and promote job and set daily limit to $80/day. - Job runs for a few hours. - I get a $160 bill. - Contact them about it and they say they can't refund cpc products. Not the end of the day but just leaves a bad taste.

@robesposito @YieldOnCostSTR When one thing goes wrong, other unrelated things seem to follow. Its the absolute worst lmao. Had every property I manage blow up on the same day for different reasons 2 weeks ago after going months with nothing.

@YieldOnCostSTR As someone who uses WeWork on a regular basis, it is quite honestly an amazing product unlike a lot of these. They just need to figure out how to do it in a sustainable, profitable way (obviously very difficult)

One major thing I've learnt over the last year is don't be afraid to spend money on talented people. Had a top lawyer review a contract last minute. Cost: $1500 Amount Saved: $18,000 Changed to a better CPA to do my taxes. (Previous one was awful) Cost: $880 Amount Saved: $10,000+
