It’s not that Nintendo “doesn’t care” they don’t even “ATTEMPT” to evolve Mario by creating a narrative for it. I blame Shigeru Miyamoto for that. Which is why the franchise isn’t evolving outside of gameplay, like every other game on the market does. Making Mario less special.
