I'm not vaxed and got covid last week. No symptoms and a little tired for 2 days. Can't say a vax has a positive effect on covid. now my vaxed family and in laws can shut up about getting the vax. Covid had no impact on me, so vax would have been zero benefit.

If 80% are vaxed, then it makes sense the majority of hospitalizations and deaths are vaxed. The meaningful stat is rate per 100,000. This rate is higher for vaxed as well, suggesting vax has negative effectiveness.
